The Vice President of the 4th republics of Ghana, Dr Mahmoud Bawumia has recently sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms after the Presbyterian church of Ghana at Adabraka.
The Presbyterian Church was undoubtedly filled to the brim as the church was celebrating its 30th anniversary aside welcoming the Vice President, Dr Mahmoud Bawumia to the special occasion.
The Vice President was spotted with other government officials who also took the privilege to join the celebration to mark the special occasion.
“I was the special guest at the special service to celebrate the 30th anniversary in ordained service of Rev Kwadwo Owusu-Sarpong in the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at the church’s Adabraka official town branch on Sunday, August 22, 2021. I underscored the immense contribution of the church towards the growth of the nation, particularly in the provision of basic, secondary and tertiary education, healthcare, agricultural services and other social interventions throughout the length and breadth of Ghana. I urged the leadership of all religious bodies to continue to use the pulpit to propagate the message of peace and unity to stress the need to maintain the oneness and peace the nation continues to enjoy despite our challenges”, Dr Mahmoud Bawumia emphatically stated.
Surprisingly, the Presbyterian church was filled with blue, red and white which was meant to be the party colors of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and has caused massive reactions online.
