The fight for or against Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer is becoming quite interesting in the whole world. In Ghana, most prominent people has added their voice saying is against our culture, customs and tradition and they will never allow this sinful act in our motherland Ghana.
Conversely, others hold of the view that is against human right and they should allow them to enjoy their rights and freedoms. A lot of Ghanaian celebrities were advocating for the LGBTQI community in Ghana.
Meanwhile, the church of Methodist in United Kingdom (UK), specifically Britain has allowed LGBTQI marriages in their churches. According to report, the leaders voted massively in support of this agenda at a conference held in Birmingham. That means such marriages should be allowed and officiated by the ministers within the church.
Ghanaian UK Pastor posited that, the decision taken by Methodist Church in Britain doesn't binds other churches to permit others to do the same, because ministers and churches can decide to allow or not. My question is can this have influence in the church in future or not? Because UK is the mother of Methodism.
