One of the most contentious preachers, Osofo Kumchacha, appeared on Onua TV's Onua Maakye with Captain Smart today. On this morning's episode, Osofo Kumchacha appeared to discuss some national issues with Captain Smart. The interview between the two went quite well, with Kumchacha stating his views as usual and also giving advice to the people by quoting from the Bible.

The construction of the national cathedral, according to Osofo Kumchacha, is meaningless for the government to build. He said that this is because the money they wish to put into the cathedral will never arrive in peace. Instead, the priests who organized the group to build the cathedral will waste the funds.

He claims that the Priest in charge of the project would rather build homes and buy expensive automobiles with the money than let the initiative die. Kumchacha stated that he does not agree with such a concept and that anyone who agrees or supports the idea of Ghana establishing a national cathedral will come to regret it in the future.

Captain Smart told Sofo Kumchacha to his face that he supports the concept as soon as he landed. He supports the government's plans to create a national cathedral and sees nothing wrong with it. Sofo Kumchacha stopped for a moment before laughing. "Don't call me to your studios again if this is what you subscribe to," Kumchacha said Captain Smart, "because I don't see the need for Ghana to build a national cathedral."

Captain Smart was rebuked for saying that Christians in Ghana always assist their various churches develop. Build a church for themselves, as well as mission houses for the church's leaders. You will never see a member of a church being aided by the church in a time of need.

Kumchacha  believes that the government should utilize this money to repair our roads and give other services to the country, such as schools, hospitals, and businesses. Rather than putting their money into the wallets of others.
