On 15th September 2021, the founder of Glorious Word Power Church International (GWPCI) Bishop Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, was granted bail with the sum of two hundred thousand Ghana cedis which called for some pastors, actors and others thanked the Inspector General of Police and the Accra court.
Mr. Peter Toobu was was interviewed by 3fm news (Media General) and was asked about Owusu Bempah's arrest. He told the media that he was happy the Prophet was arrested and sent to prison and he (Peter Toobu) wanted Owusu Bempah to be jailed for long so that he will have new experience in life and also to teach him a great lesson in life.
He thinks the law is above him and he can do anything in this nation and go scott free. The police do not arrest you only on one allegation rather they do multiple check ups on all form of allegations before they handcuff you. How can a whole prophet go to a woman and threat her life after social media banter and your junior pastor too pull out gun. This is ridiculous. Peter Toobu added.
