The Best Times to pray as a Christian according to the Bible

The Bible has stated it clearly in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 that, believers should pray without ceasing. This means one needs to pray without stopping. One do not need to stop praying for anything. Also one do not have to wait till they are in temptation or trouble before they pray. The Bible say we should pray without stopping.

However, the Scripture does not definitively state what the best times to pray with our Creator are or how much we should do it. It, however, does record the habits of many righteous people such as David, Daniel, Mark and other prophets in the Bible.

In Daniel Chapter 6 verse 10 states that 'Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before'.

Here Daniel prayed three times a day. Morning, afternoon and in the evening. This is one best time or times to pray according to the Bible.

In the Book of Psalm Chapter 5:3 and 55:17 also talks about King David praying three times a day.

Above indicate the times these men of God used to pray which worked for them.

However, Jesus Christ before his dead prayed at night for God to deliver him.

To conclude, prayer can be done at anytime and at any appropriate place where possible. However, one do not need to stop praying no matter what. The best time to pray depends on which times in a day will be suitable for you.
