The founder and leader of Heaven of Yaweh Prayer Ministry at Akyem Nsutam in the fanteakwa south district in the eastern region, Prophetess Vivian Boakye has revealed that speaking in tongues is a necessity for every Christian without which man does not communicate with God.
According to the nation prophetess, the gift of tongues is for the righteous so any Christian who lives right must be able to speak in tongues.
Speaking in a studio discussion with Obido Nana Gyasi of Radio 1, the prophetess, revealed that tongue speaking is designed to be a communication between God and Man only and no other can understand.
She added that if anyone cannot speak in tongues does not communicate with God.
"There are two types of tongues. One which is a prophecy and demands an interpretation. Another is a pray which is the spiritual communication between God and man, that no one understands except God himself. It is a gift given to you when you live right and that gives you the opportunity to communicate with God in the spirit. So anyone who can't pray in tongues does not communicate with God in the spirit" - Prophetess Vivian Boakye.
While other school of thoughts and beliefs think tongue speaking has ceased, Prophetess Vivian Boakye believes it has not ended and only ends when one dies.
