God was there at the beginning of our universe, but He had existed long before that.

There has never been a time when He didn’t exist and there will never be a time when He stops existing. “Before the mountains were brought forth…Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God,” the psalmist wrote (Psalm 90:2).
