It is worth remembering the history of such individuals or great women who have held great positions in the past. The religious denomination is one such subject that every first lady of the country discusses. We'll look at the religious affiliations of all the first ladies from 1992 to the present in this post.
Denomination: Roman Catholic
From 4 June 1979 to 24 September 1979 and 31 December 1981 to 7 January 2001, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawling served as the First Lady of Ghana, both times under President Jerry John Rawlings. She was the first woman to run for President of Ghana in 2016.

Theresa Kufuor is the former First Lady of Ghana and the wife of John Kufuor, the second President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. She has worked as a nurse and a midwife in the past.
3. Ernestina Naadu Mills
Ernestina Naadu Mills (21 July 1944 – 24 July 2012) was the wife of former Ghanaian President John Atta Mills. She also served as Ghana's Second Lady from 1996 to 2001. She worked in schools such as Aburi Girls' Senior High School, Achimota School, and Holy Trinity Cathedral Senior High School for 33 years.
4. Lordina Mahama
Denomination: Assemblies of God
Lordina Mahama is a former Ghanaian First Lady who served as the country's first lady from 2012 to 2017. She is married to John Dramani Mahama, the fourth President of Ghana's Fourth Republic. She was the Second Lady of Ghana from 2009 to 2012 before becoming First Lady.
Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo is a Ghanaian politician and the new First Lady of Ghana, married to President Nana Akufo-Addo, the 5th President of Ghana's 4th Republic.
