Prophet Kumchacha Fires I am a fool to donate to National Cathedral construction

The founder and leader of Heave’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei, has criticized the government for its position on the national cathedral project, especially when the country has a lot of unresolved issues.

Prophet Kumchacha as he is affectionately called believes that the money that the government is using to construct the cathedral could be used to fix the roads in the country.

Speaking to Captain Smart on Onua TV, Prophet Kumchacha opined that when you travel abroad, the road over there are mostly six (6) lanes making the flow of traffic very easy, but that cannot be said of Ghana.

“On the Accra to Kumasi road, every week there are accidents where at least ten (10) people die, this can be expanded, and street lights on it fixed so that these accidents can be alleviated. Why not the government use the money for the cathedral to fix the roads? He asked.”

“If I promise to buy my wife who is yet to conceive a car when she does, should I come on TV and say Kumchacha, my wife has delivered and I need donations to buy her the car I promised, why should I promise if I can’t buy?” He continued to say Ghanaians should not bear the burden of funding the Nana Akuffo Addo's promise to God.

“The pastors who are supporting the government with the National Cathedral are well to do, they get some of the funds for the project themselves, and so if other pastors complain about it, they become annoyed with us.”

“Before the cathedral is completed, the people overseeing it would have built more than four houses for themselves; most of the pastors involved in the project are crooks. So, as for me, Kumchacha, my GHc 1 or GHc 2 will not go into this project. If I support with a penny, then call me a monkey, he said

He concluded that Ghana is having challenges developing not because of prayer but because of the high level of corruption in the country and the looting of state properties.
