We will not worship in a cathedral designed by LGBTQ advocate :A renowned clergyman speaks out

The building of a national cathedral in Ghana has triggered a lot of brouhaha owing to the fact that, the nation is plaqued with varied economic woes and as such the nation cannot afford to use such quantum of money to build a cathedral.

Many have waded into the merits and demerits of the building of the cathedral when majority of the citizenry wallow in perpetual poverty.

The act of being a Christlike is ensuring everyone has what is due them in a country not building a worship center for the lord when same money can be used to alleviate the poverty of that hundreds of thousands of people are wallowing in.

What has made the situation worse is the discovery that, the architect who designed the cathedral is an ardent LGBTQ advocate. This news did not gain much attention because most Ghanaians were highly engrossed in preaching against the practice being done in our country and so much prominence wasn't given to the designer of the cathedral being an advocate of the act.

The latest to add his voice about the designer being an LGBTQ advocate is the general overseer and founder of the Gospel Light International church who is in the person of Rev. Matthew Addae Mensah

He stated emphatically that

“There are equally better architectures in Ghana who can do the project. He should resign. David Adjaye has shown that he has no respect for the Christian community in Ghana. He has clearly demonstrated that there is a difference between knowledge and wisdom.”

“Since he cherishes and values such abominable foreign practices then I have the right to say that he is not fit to be granted the honor by the President of the land to handle a holy edifice such as the National Cathedral.”

Bishop Addae – Mensah further said, when laying the foundation stone for the commencement of the construction of the Cathedral, the President, Nana Akufo Addo having reverence for God described the occasion as a special day being witnessed as ‘a holy promise being fulfilled to build in honor of God”

This is an absolute truth to some extent since the nation has boldly declared a stand on the practice, every measure must be put in place to ensure that, every bit of their traces are completely eliminated from our system

Clearly when this is not done ,these individuals will pride themselves as contributing to the building of our nation as a lot of them have pleaded with the necessary authorities to allow them use their expertise contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
