Final decision on Eidul-Fitr prayer and celebration in the (Covid-19) pandemic era in Ghana 2021.

The holy month of Ramadan which begun on 13th of April 2021 is expected to end on the 13th of May 2021 as Muslims need to go down on congregation in a great honour to this blesses month.

Consequently, the existence of covid 19 in the country will hinder the congregational prayer this time again leading to the modification of different method to perform the congregation.

Government of Ghana in deliberation with His Renowned the National Chief Imam Sheik Dr.Osman Nuhu Sharubutu has released a statement about how the prayer and celebration going to be held.

Muslims are therefore advised to hold their Eid prayers at Jummah mosques and localities neglecting mass gathering at community parks which it was used to performed in the past years.

Also, National Chief Imam also recommend all Muslims to adhere to the Covid-19 protocols when leaving to the various mosques and localities.
