Sodom And Gomorrah Wasn't Destroyed Because Of Sin - Pastor Abel Damina

If you are a Bible scholar or a fervent attendee of the Sunday schools, you must have heard about the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. In the Genesis account, God reveals to Abraham that Sodom and Gomorrah are to be destroyed for their grave sins.

In Genesis 19, God sends two angels disguised as men to Sodom, where the men of Sodom threaten to rape them. God then destroys the city with fire and brimstone. According to the Bible, the men of Sodom 'were wicked, such sinners against the Lord, He decided to destroy them.

The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God as a punishment for the widespread practice of sin in the city, according to the prophets Ezekiel, Jude, and Genesis. In addition, many biblical scholars believe that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of their sinful practices of idol worship, consuming filthy substances, and exhibiting a lack of hospitality.

These claims have been disproven in a recent YouTube video produced by Pastor. Dr. Abel Damina who founded and serves as the senior pastor of Abel Damina Ministries. According to the Man of God, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was not caused by sin.

According to the pastor, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because the people who lived there had rejected the message for so long. That message was the gospel of trust in Jesus Christ, God's son. The Pastor also mentioned that the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is a metaphor for what would happen to people who reject the message of Christ on the day of judgment.
