The Church of Pentecost - Effiduase District which form part of Ejisu Area in the Ashanti Region today(8th August, 2021)organized a Farewell service in honour of Pastor Alexander Kofi Mireku and Mrs Sarah Boatemaa Mireku at Effiduase Central Assembly who have served as District Pastor in Effiduase for six good years by the grace of God. And by the grace of God He has being transfer to continue his pastoral call at different Area of the church of Pentecost.
As a result of this changes there was the need for farewell service for the mentioned minister of God and his family and the program occurred today.
The programme was chaired by Apostle Kenneth Baffoe Antwi the Ejisu Area head, after the chairman of the occasion finished the introduction,Pastor Eric Gyacham who is Ejisu Area secretary was asked to deliver the word of God and he speaker under the theme: AM I NOT SENDING YOU?
He said God had called us from all sphere of lives with different backgrounds to save us and to lead others to Christ.
Though you may not be a Christian but your presence here indicate you are called by God and He is to send you to where he picked you.
Delving deep into the gospel,Rev Eric explain that anytime God send people,there are three things which lead. That is a messenger , message and the mission. He also said Israelites repented and turn to God , so we must also do same to have the salvation of God.
We are great warriors for Christ sent by God to go to the wilderness to save the lost one.
God doesn't send the rich and the wealth people but those with a pure heart. He said as Christians we should not scared of where we are going for God is with us and He has given us the strength to do his work. God always has a message for you so be assured. If God is with you ,you are done. If only we believe in him God will, He will be with us. we have Jesus so we shouldn't let anyone intimidate us.
This strength which God bestowed on us as He calls. The same enemy to fight ,the same God will show you a sign to prove his glory.
He concluded the message by asking the question am I not sending you?
After the sermon, Apostle K.B. Antwi led the whole congregation in prayer, the entire district members thanked God for the life of Rev Alexander and his family.
Mrs Sarah Boatemaa was applauded for her commitment and dedication which has helped the successful ministry of Rev Mireku at Asante Effiduasi.

The district executive praise pastor Alexander for his leadership and administration,his intense prayer life .He is noted for his visitation and discipleship. His simple and affable life style paved way for anybody to come to him without discrimination.
As a transformational leader, he liaised with traditional leaders to transform people's life.
He carried out developmental project in the district. Through him God has raised spiritual standard of members through sound biblical teachings and prayers.
Also,as an area youth leader, he preached with clarity which the youth admire him for that.
