Sheikh (Dr.) Saad Al-Shathary, a Saudi Arabian Muslim consultant, has stated that Islam is the religion for tolerance and that Islamists should try to live together in harmony alongside members of other religions.
According to Vanguard, the sheikh made the statement while making a speech at the University of Abuja, Gwagwalada, during a public lecture themed "Islamic and Harmony."
Professor Effiok Uwatt, Chairman of the Executive Council, congratulated attendees for receiving a request in his welcoming address, emphasizing that the need to educate the people about the genuine fundamentals of Islam prompted the attempt to delay the seminar.
Sheikh continues to address the issue of some Muslims not being able to tolerate other people regions because they are not Muslims. He made a statement that triggered most people to support his point of view, Sheikh said "a good Muslim tolerate other peoples region and views in any forum and discussion groups"
I hope our Muslim brothers will take this into considerations and change the way they think and live their lives.
