I Stopped Doing These 3 Things On Sunday Morning Before Going To Church And Here I Am

Every day in and day out, we make certain moves that either draw us close to the Almighty, the Highest or the Alpha and Omega as you wish to describe your creator or distance us from him. According to the creation story, God created everything within six days and rested on the seventh day.

As such many of us regards the seventh day of the week which can be Sunday, Saturday or Friday depending on your religious belief, as a day of purity and stewardship.

Yes! Sundays are for God and on that particular day, there are certain things that you and I should desist from if we want to prosper and have God listen to our secret prayers.

Here Are 3 Things Which Were Shared By A Fellow Blogger And That Everyone Must Avoid Early On Sunday Morning Before Going To Church

1. Lies

One of the things you not never do on Sunday morning as you prepare for the church is to lie. Severally, the act has been part of us in a way that even people lie on the phone and don’t see anything wrong it that.

John 4:24 says, “God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth”

2. Fornication

This is not even supposed to be avoided on Sundays but weekends as a whole, and I bet you, not even true Christians can stay away from that. What’s worst, fornicating the morning before church. Well, let me leave you to think of this.

3. Idol worship

Exodus 20:3 says “You shall have no other gods before me (God)”. This is a very simple yet brief message. You can’t serve two masters at the same time and is this reason that you should desist from idol-worshipping if you are a Christian.

I know there are more points to this but let just leave you with this three. However, you can add your preference or share your view or opinion with the world in the comments below.
