Former president John Dramani Mahama has been applauded on social media for his outstanding humanitarian contributions and support to Ghanaians.

With much surprise at the former president's good gestures, fans and followers of the Mahama has continued to hail and shower him with love for his generous act towards the Muslim community following the appeal of the leadership of the Kumasi Sofoline mosque to ghanaians for help in order to secure the land on which the mosque is situated.
John Mahama made a cash donation in the amount of ghs 110, 000 towards the Kumasi Sofoline mosque project on Saturday 20,August,2022.
The former president went ahead and pledged to support the planned renovation of the mosque.

His act has led to many people campaigning for his coming back as president come 2024, as some believe such an act should have come from the incumbent president, but JM still went ahead to extend his hands though he is not in power.
