Wesley Girls Saga: Muslim Doctor Opens Up Experience

Wey Gey Hey: What do you know about the Almighty Wesley Girls Senior High School especially in relation to it's strict rules on religious matters?

Well, for a young Ghanaian medical doctor and a former student of Wesley Girls Senior High School, Dr. Fathia Ayodele Kareem, she has requested that Christians imagine themselves in the situations of Muslims and hopes that something be done about it

According to Dr. Fathia, aside from not being allowed to pray, she believed to have been passed over following her quest for prefectship in the school, all as a result of her religious affiliation.

Having attended Wey Gey Hey from 2006 to 2009 and being the second in her family to attend the school, had a lot of experience from the institution.

She recounted that, there were many good things instilled in her in the school for which she is grateful but the extent of religious intolerance left much to be desired.

"I was the second person in my family to attend Gey Hey so I had been informed that Muslims were not allowed to pray. I was also passed over for prefectship in which I believe was because I am Muslim", she said on her Facebook page. Read below, the screenshots.

Let's end religious intolerance now! Please share and follow for more information.
