4 Reasons why Your prayers to God may have been delayed / not answered.

Hi guys, today I felt in my spirit to bring you guys something connected to our lives as believers. I know many people have questions about this topic and i believe that ny the time you read through this Article, you might get answers to your questions, and that youl stat putting certain things to use. Please kindly follow me for more Trends and other Interesting stories and News.

Note: Every Bible quote will be taken from the NLT bible.

Many people wonder why their prayers may have not been answered. I go to church, I serve God, I pay my tithe, I do everything there's to do as a believer, yet certain prayers of mine have not been answered yet. Others are like" I have prayed about this thing for years, yet I'm not getting it.

Today i want to draw your attention on 4 things that may have cause a delay in you receiving the answers to your prayers.

Let's get down to it then, the first thing is;

1.Check Your Relationship With God.

Many of us go to church to pray, Sometime watch nights, conventions /camps, crusades, Revivals, and other great gathering of believers, yet we come home to do the filthy things we used to do. How do you expect God to answer your prayers if you are doing the things He has told you in the Bible that he doesn't like them. How can you live in sin and expect him to just answer your prayers. Imagine you living with your father, and he tells you that, I don't want you to play video games without doing your homework first, and you don't listen to your father but always play video games without doing your homework.

What do you think will happen if yo go to him for something special?. You will have to apologize for disobeying him and if he forgives you, then he will give it to you.

John 9:31,36

[31]We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but he is ready to hear those who worship him and do his will.

Now this is what I'm talking about, check the above scripture. So one thing we should know is that we need to maintain our relationship with God if we want Him to answer our prayers

2. Pray According to God's Will.

Some of us also pray about things that are not in relation with the will of God. We ask things that are offline... How can you ask God to help you in your illegal actions or business, our God is not an Illegal God. Others also ask God for certain promotion or Positions, knowing that it is already occupied. Some also pray for spiritual gift and other things because he has seen someone doing miracles at church or Believer's gatherings. Brethren, please check the way you pray, the words you say, the intention of praying.

God gives a gift to someone for the benefit of the church, so don't expect him to gift you such a Grace of you are praying with a bad intention. Oh, because this pastor is doing this I also have to be able to do the same. No, you and that pastor are not the same. Change your perception and intentions toward that prayer, tell God that you need that particular gift because you want to help his Church and his people with it, not because you want to hype yourself and be famous by performing miracles as someone is doing.

1 John 5:14

[14]And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.

So the above scripture clarifies the fact that, God listens to us, he hears and answers aus when we pray According to his will, when we pray about things that pleases him.

3. God's Appointed time and Season

One thing you should know as a believer is that God has an Appointed time for everything that He does, because he knows the future and you don't. He has his own time and His reason for blessing someone. He can bless someone at the age of 40, someone at the age of 25 and others can also receive their at the age of 60/70 plus.

The fact that you've not received the dream car you've been praying of, doesn't mean God does not love you. He knows the future than you do. He know that you might even die right after you get that car and boast with it driving carelessly, he knows that after the early Marriage you might even lose your husband and become a widow, therefore He will delay you a little for you to be matured before he blessed your life with Marriage.

So sometimes if you pray and you aren't receiving what you prayed for, then wait and continue to pray, at his appointed time He will answer you. Look at the time Hannah, Sarah and Elizabeth in the Bible gave Birth. They were believers and even the wives of Great men of God and God Himself knew them, yet He Blessed them with Children at His own appointed time. God's Appointed Time.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-3

1]For everything there is a season,

a time for every activity under heaven.

[2]A time to be born and a time to die.

A time to plant and a time to harvest.

[3]A time to kill and a time to heal

A time to tear down and a time to build up.

God has a time for everything, so wait for him.

4. The last thing is that Don't doubt God

James 1:6-7

[6]But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.

[7]Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

If you look at the above scripture, the verse seven says that such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

Sometime we make our problems so bigger than God, so we pray to God and yet we think about wether God can do it or not, we think about wether our problems are even going to be solved or not.

Brethren, our God is bigger than any problem you have, and there's nothing that He cannot do, so if you've prayed to Him, then trust and believe that He can and will do it. Don't doubt and be thinking of your problems, because He is bigger than it.
