Dr. Otabil's Daughter, Pastor Nhyira, Her Husband, Pastor Dr. Harry Allotey and Their Church Excels.

Dr. Mensa Otabil has really seen the blessings of God, in every facet of life. Whereas his Interventional Central Gospel Church has severally filled the Independence Square in many of its programs, the church has seen an impressive surge in its branches.

Personally for him, all his kids are swimming in the glory of God and thankfully, one of his biological children, Nhyira Otabil, the second born daughter, is ordained and fully serving as a pastor in his church. If the profession is good, you will surely expect a child to follow suit and this is a great departure from the days of abject poverty, where many pastors did not want their children to follow suit, as it only led to a life of regret.

Nhyira Otabil, had struck acquaintance at a Akosombo international School, where she was schooling with one Harry Allotey and they became friends. This friendship since junior high schools days, have been sustained by them for years, till they both tied the knot in December 2014.

Fast forward, the marriage that saw Nhyira's father gift the new couple with a three (3) bedroom house as wedding gift, has since been a victory for the Lord, as they have indeed forged a solid pair, who have since planted a church and by the grace of God, are seeing strange growth and increase.

God has been good to them and they are not just building a wonderful family at church, but are also, blessed with beautiful kids. Their church, the ICGC Cornerstone Temple that meets at GIMPA Junction, has become a home to hundreds of young adults, who are largely students, recent graduates and young professionals, who are been turned out to be lovers of God and people pursuing after His best, for their lives.

On typical Sunday, over a hundred people will visit the church and with its youth themed messages, that is shared either by Pastor Nhyira or Pastor Harry and most times, even by both, they have created an atmosphere, where the young folks, are been prepared for a godly take over of the corporate world and society.

Interestingly, both of them are theologians, as both have graduated with top honours in Theology from world renowned Universities based in the United Kingdom. Most recently, the husband, Pastor Dr. Harry Allotey graduated with a Doctorate degree, also from a University in UK and according to checks, Pastor Nhyira Otabil-Allotey may soon be gaining her Doctorate degree as well, as she has finally submitted her PhD thesis and awaiting supervisors approval and her defense of same.

Interestingly, before they had both tied the knot and were obviously in a courtship relationship, Dr. Mensa Otabil may have been consciously preparing them for this glorious part, as both were serving at the Christ Temple Youth Ministry and have both served at ICGC's Daniel Institute.

The Institute is inspired by Excellence and innovation and offers a wide range of high quality of teaching and extra-curricular activities and according to its website "We offer a range of training packages in a range of subject areas and can offer blended learning opportunities to best meet your needs. If sitting in a room with a trainer and having the opportunity for discussion with other learners sounds good to you then we can offer this. If you have enough people wanting to attend the same course."

Pastor Mrs. Nhyira Otabil currently serves as a Deputy Director of this institute and clearly, helping to see their church experience growth is in the right order, as she literally leads many other young pastors to experience such progress also.

Pastor Nhyira who describes herself as a "Christian, Wife, Mother, Pastor, Theologian, Youtuber" is an alumni of Oral Roberts University where she bagged her Bachelors Degree in Theology and also attended the renowned Fuller Theological Seminary for her Masters. She was also a teaching and research assistant at the Daniel's Institute, together with the husband.

Most recently, the church had organized "EXALT" a program that the ICGC Cornerstone Temple sought, to outdoor youthful creative worship and it went down as a success and its impact, may be stuck with many participants so far.

We can only wish them well and we cant wait to see their church filled with thousands of members, who are well nourished with the wisdom and power of the Holy Ghost, to be social change agents in every corner of our society.
