1.“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to reckless indiscretion. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.”—Ephesians 5:18.

This bible verse is what many people use in support their bad drinking habit. If I may ask do you know the amount of alcohol that can make you drunk? The answer may be no .

2.Proverbs 23:20: "Do not join those who drink too much wine or gorge themselves on meat, for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags."

3.The Demon of sorrow and sexual immorality is set in motion by alcohol. He backed this up by quoting Proverbs 23:22.

Summary: The consumption of alcohol gives room for the manifestation of different types of sins like immorality, violence, evil imagination and others. This comes with demons possessing and manipulating the lives of believers.

4. Isaiah 5:11: "Woe to those who rise early in the morning to run after their drinks, who stay up late at night till they are inflamed with wine.


In summary according to the bible and spiritual men of God, alcohol creates an avenue for demons to manifest in a person's life hence all believers should abstain from it.

If you are a Christian you must abstain from alcohol. Physical it may not be considered as a sin but may lead you directly to sin so it may be sin indirectly.
