Today being 30th September 2022, Honourable Okudzeto Ablakwa reveals an illegal activity ongoing in the foreign space affairs on the good morning show on metro TV. Today also happens to be the last day for the Sim card re-registration and a lot of Ghanaians are also panicking since they may have no access to their Sim cards if they fail to register it today.
'It will shock you that, in the foreign affairs space for which I am part, there is an illegal activity which goes on every time. There are Ghanaians who are able to acquire multiple passports in different names and these people have their biometrics for all the passports yet the NIA does nothing about it. This always goes on and as a citizen this should not happen and the NIA does not care', Okudzeto Ablakwa exposes live on TV.
Meanwhile, ordinary Ghanaians will lose their Sim cards if they do not register it by the end of the day. What sort of incompetence is that, the Ghanaians did not make the law, it is the parliamentarians that make it, you then do not provide proper measures for the exercise to take place in due time and then because they do not have any say, you decide to block their Sim if they do not meet your requests, Okudzeto Ablakwa proclaims on the interview.
As a citizen, what are your takes on actions like this by the network providers and also if you are in a position to help citizens, what will be your immediate steps to make sure each and every citizen is able to register their Sim card.
