The NASA Perseverance Rover caught real ice moving on Mars.

The main mission for this rover is to look for ancient life, but on it quest for the mission, it has discovered a chunk of ice inside a valley.

According to scientists, there was once a lake, river, sea and even oceans exist on the red planet (Mars) billion years ago.

So the question is what made all these liquid water to disappear?

All the liquid water on Mars now exists as ice and small amounts can also be found on the planet atmosphere.

Planetary scientists believe that most of the water content was split into nitrogen and oxygen in the atmosphere, and hydrogen lost to space.

Another studies also suggest that vast of the water is now lock in the planet crust.

could this be the first step to colonise the red planet.
