Anayo Modestus onyekwere, a Nigerian famous actor and a lawyer, generally known as Kanayo o Kanayo, has advised all married couples not to compare their marriages to the ones they normally see on social media.
According to the actor, most of the divorces in our homes today are due to some married men and women comparing their marital life to what they usually see on social media nowadays.
As per him, most of the marriage issues we normally see online are not real. Some married men and women sometimes post pictures on social media pretending they live a better life, but in reality, they are not. Most of these men and women live in a worse life, so one needs not to copy or imitate all that he or she sees on social media.
He added that all married men and women shouldn't disclose their marital issues on social media or add what they see online into their marital life because it is unnecessary, very bad and can lead to divorce in marriage.
The popular actor and a lawyer made this advice on his official Facebook page.
“Stop comparing your marriage to what you see online". Couples post pictures and make it look as if they are having a perpetual honeymoon, and you fall for it.
“You get miserable. Wake up. Real life isn’t like that. Besides" envy is dangerous". Disastrous even; so get offline and on the truck, he advised.
