How To Make Yourself Look Attractive (Guys)

You have no control over your DNA or basic physical characteristics, but you do have power over how you use what you have. Being attractive is a result of a combination of variables such as grooming, personality, and style. There are basic modifications you may make to become more beautiful, whether you're merely wanting to boost your present sex appeal or are entirely stumped.

1. Get your hair trimmed on a regular basis. Even if you're aiming to grow it out, you'll need to cut it on a regular basis to avoid split ends. You have the option of going to a professional hairdresser or cutting it yourself. In any case, take a look at the following schedules:

If you prefer to keep your hair short, trim it every two to three weeks. Make sure that the hair that grows down the back of your neck is shaved by you or your stylist.

Trim the ends of your hair every 4 to 6 weeks if you're growing it out. Take care to shave the hair that grows down the back of your neck, even if it will be hidden.

2. Wash your hair on a regular basis. Most guys can get away with washing their hair every day, but if your hair is very dry, you could stretch it to every other day.

Choose a shampoo and conditioner that are specifically developed for your hair type, such as dry, greasy, or curly.

Shampoo and conditioner should be purchased separately; products that combine the two do not work as well.

Consult your hairdresser; they are the professionals! They may be more expensive than conventional shampoo and conditioner, but they are almost certainly of higher quality.

3. Apply hairspray (optional). Although you are not need to use a product to style your hair, many men do. It can make your hair look shinier and healthier while also giving you more control and grip. Here are a few things that are commonly used to style men's hair:

Serums and creams are two options. These can help you de-frizz curls or tame flyaways without making your hair stiff and unmovable.

Mousse. Hair mousse adds volume and sparkle to your hair while maintaining a light grip. Apply to wet hair and let dry for optimum results.

Pomade, hair wax, or hair clay are all options. Use these products to create difficult-to-achieve hairstyles like pompadours and curls (for naturally straight hair). Remember that certain products can take several washes to eliminate, so use them sparingly. If you have short, medium, or thin hair, a pea-sized amount should suffice. For a shiny, moist finish, use pomade or hair wax; for a matte, natural tone, use hair clay.

Gel. Unlike pomade, gel contains alcohol, which causes hair to dry out and creates a stiffer hold. Apply the gel to wet hair for the best hold.

Glue for hair. Have you ever wondered how some people manage to get their mohawks to stand up straight? They're most likely employing a hair glue of some sort, which has the strongest hold. Keep an eye out for product build-up and be sure to wash your hair thoroughly.

Seek guidance from your hairdresser! They'll be able to tell what doesn't look right.

4. Choose a hairstyle that flatters you. Find out what your friends think. Also, the next time you get your hair cut, inquire about hairstyles and if you should comb or blow-dry your hair. You may need to experiment a little to figure out which haircut best suits your face and style, but you'll eventually find a look that suits you. Consider the following possibilities:

Make a section in your hair. Your hair might be parted down the center, to the side, or not at all. Try a couple different variations to discover what you like best.

Instead of splitting your hair, try combing the top of your hair in one direction. If your hair is short, try combing it forward; if it's longer, comb it back or spike it up. Experiment with different styles once more.

If you have longer hair, consider pulling it back into a ponytail and arranging it in front of your face, or brushing it back and tying up just the top piece.

5. Take care of baldness (optional). If you're balding, you might want to shave or trim your hair short to make the difference between the two places less visible. Wash your hair immediately after exercising, as not doing so is claimed to hasten balding, and give yourself a thorough scalp massage every time you shower.
