What good or bad do you think love is capable of doing to those who fall in love? Well, many believe that love is evil and evil is love.
For the case of a Ghanaian politician, law lecturer of the University of Ghana law school, former Deputy Minister for Justice (Deputy Attorney General), legal team member of former president of Ghana and petitioner in the just-ended election petition.
Above all, the member of parliament for Bolgatanga East Constituency of the Upper East region of Ghana, Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, who's childhood ambition of becoming a Catholic priest got shattered as a result of love.
If such is life, then the saying "wherever you find the greatest good, you will find the greatest evil, because evil loves paradise as much as good", holds true! Why?
The Bolgatanga East MP narrated how his goal of joining the seminary and therefore becoming a Catholic priest got destroyed as a young lad, after his girlfriend got him a pregnancy.
As a vibrant and goal oriented student of the Notre Dame Minor Secondary School, Upper East chapter with hundred percent certainty that he was going to be a priest, an oblivious wrong life shattered his lifetime plan.
What would that mean to you if you find yourself in his shoes then?
At his 20 before he joined the seminary with the believe that he was going ahead to achieve his goal of being a priest, his girlfriend revealed to him that she was pregnant for him.
"I actually wanted to become a Catholic priest and was the only thing I wanted but before I could complete Lower Six, my girlfriend gave birth to my first son."
" I experimented and the whole experiment went wrong and he was born. I told myself that if being a priest is actually a calling, then this is a sign from God that I should not become one.
"So that was how my priestly ambition ended. I was left with no option but to become a lawyer", he narrated.
