" Will you give huge money to a man you love to pay your dowry and bride price?" Host of Onua TV morning Show asked a female Onua TV presenter Adwoa Konadu this morning.
" That means I've married myself. No! I can't marry myself. Bride price and dowry is paid to represent that a man is capable of taking care of me. If he can't pay, he can't take care of a woman " Adwoa Konadu replied Boldly.
Not convinced, Captain Smart probed a further question;
"Don't you believe that the man could become rich later and take good care of you? " Captain Smart demanded another answer.
" He could become rich. However when there is a little problem, he is likely to disgrace me that I gave him money to marry me. Simply, it's culturally and traditionally unacceptable. A man should pay bride price with his own money " Adwoa Konadu brilliantly replied again
The debate continues.
Wait, as a woman will you pay your own bride price to cover a a man ? Let's get talking.
