Speaking on SVTV Africa, Serwaa Akoto indicated that women are funny in that regard. Speaking on her heartbreak, she mentioned that she was aware of some things she did not like about her ex but she went ahead to date him.
“Women are funny sometimes. We can point out what we don't like about a guy and still go out with them. You know marriage means a lot to is women than men. When a man is 40 and not married he is okay.
But it's different with women because we believe we need it more. Sometimes we may see red flags and we know this won't end well. But we assume the next man may be the same so we maintain the current one,” she told host of Daily Hustle in the UK, DJ Nyaami.
The mother of two added that she found herself in a similar situation with her ex. According to Serwaa Akoto, her ex promised to change but the change never occurred. She advised ladies to be wary of such situations and “if it won't help, better leave early.”
