The founder and leader of the Ajagurajah Movement in Ghana, Odeefuɔ Kwabena Asiamah has advised men about what to do should they find their wives to be disrespectful towards them. 

He stated that, it was wrong to divorce your wife but if you find that, your wife is very disrespectful and is giving you problems "Just marry another woman".

He added that, no one spends his money to marry his adversary and as such it is very disturbing when the wife you have married decides not to respect and treats you with contempt.

Quoting scripture, he referred to 1Timothy 3:5 "If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of the church?

He explained the above saying, if a man doesn't have the ability to manage his own home, how can such an individual be able to control a whole church and the children of God, he quizzed.

But, added that some wives have made it very difficult for the men to be in charge of their homes. Indeed, he added, in some very disturbing circumstances, the behaviour of the wives have made the children in the marriage not to respect the men.

He continued, you cannot divorce your wife also, so what do you do? In Ajagurajah's understanding, a man must marry another woman if the current wife is giving him problems at home.

Quoting from the Holy Bible again, Odeefuo Kwabena Asiamah quoted from Genesis 3:16 "To the woman he said, “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labour you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you".

Explaining this, he said, this was a curse God placed on women so if you are a man and you allow your wife to control you and dictate the pace of things in your home, God hates you because men must rule over women. 

He added that, a man must be in charge and lead the way and allow his wife to follow and not vice versa.

Using the Lot example of the Bible, Ajagurajah said if Lot was in charge of his family, he would have allowed his wife to walk in front while he follows. 

But unfortunately, Lot allowed his wife to follow him as such when the wife turned her eyes to look behind what was happening, Lot couldn't stop her. 

He explained that, in our society when a man was coming from the farm with his wife, the man follows his wife with his cutlass and not the wife following her husband. He added, that was what lot ought to have done. 

Ajagurajah was speaking Kwaku Manu on his aggressive interview monitored on sankofa radio on Facebook.

He continued that, from the Bible, divorce isn't good and as such those who divorce and remarry have committed an offence.

It is against this background that, Ajagurajah believes that, when your wife is giving you problems, marry another wife but don't divorce your old wife. "We can even marry up to five wives" he stated.

In ending, he cautioned all men to be careful about divorcing their wives but have a right to marry another one who would respect and honour them.
