Josephine Panyin Mensah Simons is currently in custody of the Ghana Police Service, Takoradi divisional command. She has been arrested for faking her own kidnapping.
Josephine, te 9 months pregnant woman who got missing on the 16th of September 2021 and was found in Axim in the Nzema East municipal on the 21st has now revealed that her mother Agnes Essel was aware of the plan from every step of the way.
Investigations undertaken by the police service revealed that Josephine faked her pregnancy and kidnapped. And fortunately she also confessed this same crime to the police.
In her confession, where she revealed that she lost her pregnancy when it was four months old and in order not to disappoint his husband, she bought a silicone belly to make her husband know that she is still pregnant.
All along her husband was not aware of her plan but her mother was rather aware of it from the start. But earlier her mother denied and even made it known to some popular TV stations in the country that she was aware her daughter was pregnant. This means that it is a sheer conspiracy.
It has been revealed that, Josephine has since begged for mercy and actually opened up to the police because she is scared she might be prosecuted.
