I flew to Nigeria in December to meet my boyfriend. The best I've ever did. I met his friends and family.
It was scaring flying by myself to Lagos and yes I was super nervous, but it all goes away when we see each other! I come from Australia.
Not everyone in Nigeria is a scammer, this is like saying that everyone from India, Malaysia, Russia etc is a scam. There are scammers all over the world!
We are still together and we are approaching our one-year anniversary.
Follow your heart and listen to your head. As long as you're reasonable and dress appropriately, you'll be fine.
