Divorce is the legal dissolution of a marriage by a court or other competent body. Marriages are set to bind a man and a woman together in love and harmony. But certain circumstances usually interfere in the marriage which ends up in divorce.
In today's article, we will take a look at the key cause of divorce in Ghana. As mentioned earlier, poverty do cause divorce. Most marriages do not last long when there is poor finances in the family. However this is not our number key cause of divorce in Ghana.
Also sex is also another key reason to file for divorce. When one partner is denying or not performing well in sexual relation with the other, it may lead to divorce. This is also not the number key cause of divorce in Ghana.
The leading and the number cause of divorce in the country is Adultery.
No marriage couple wants to see the other cheat on him or her. It is just not right. Cheating is a sign of no love and affection for each other.
With instances like Poverty, it can be solved when both couple come together and plan their way forward on that.
Adultery here is a disgrace to the family and it has a high percentage to end in divorce. Women norm all file for divorce when they see their men cheat and vice versa.
This is the number one cause of divorce in the country in my opinion.
