You may cringed after reading the headline of this article guessing how lesbians can have baby without any man however the fact of the matter is that, it does happen and popular Ghanaian lesbian couple, Dorcas and Linda Ampadu, nicknamed Deelyn are typical examples. The Ghanaian couple have been married for four years and currently live in the UK. They are known for flaunting their love life on social media, repeatedly professing their love for each other. Despite the unrelenting vilifications and castigations, they remain unperturbed and keep living their lives.
Not long ago, they announced on the Internet they were welcoming a baby which got Ghanaians wondering how that could be possible. Infact the announcement intensified Ghanaians reprehension on the couple because some felt it was atrocious and a disgrace to their families. However, few months afterwards, their acclaimed pregnancy became indubitable after they shared a picture of Linda Ampadu carrying a baby bump. Low and behold, she delivered bouncing baby boys.
They are set to hold an official naming ceremony for the babies on July 10th this year, nonetheless the babies have already been named Okatayie and Oberempong and guess what, they bear eyely resemblance with their parents. Apparently, they inherited the light skin colour from Linda who carried the pregnancy and a diastema(tooth gap) from Dorcas, which gives insufficient proof to ignore the fact that the babies are theirs.
Ghanaians are getting to understand and accept them since welcoming their children. The rebuke and insults have reduced drastically and are gaining some sort of social acceptance. They currently have about 207k followers on facebook and regularly post pictures and videos about their family which receives positive comments and remarks now.
