The Cure for Fear & Doubt in Relationships

Doubt is defined as a feeling of uncertainty, fear or to be afraid.

Fear is the unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. So you can see that these two are complements.

Consequences of Fear

Discouragement, low self-esteem, complaining, grumbling, withdrawal, dampness, pessimism, judgmental, short temper, poor communication, etc.

How to Get Out Of Fear & Doubt

1. Find your faith in God.

You need a source that defines whose you're. So that you're sure you are not alone. Once you know that the Almighty God is on your side, you'll be empowered to navigate every torrent in your relationships and marriage.

2. Discover who God says you're to Him.

Your identity shouldn't be defined by circumstances and definitions people give you. You're who God says you're. Believe His promises and doubt not. If anybody or circumstances seem contradictory, it's not from God, therefore a lie. And don't believe lies.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand".

Isaiah 41:10 NIV

3. Believe in your potential to do great things using the gifts and abilities God naturally gifted you.

Yes, you're uniquely designed to be a great partner that is desirable to that man or woman. God never created you to be substandard. So see yourself as such, and then the other partner will also perceive that from you.

4. Believe that you will experience the goodness of the Lord all your days.

You must convince yourself that your tomorrow is better than today, not vice - versa. If your past relationships failed, this one must work or the next. Just keep expecting that you will find the right one. Refuse to compare the past to the present. Forget the storm around you and keep your focus on Jesus, who's able to calm that storm.

"And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased".

Matthew 14:31-32 NKJV

Remember, what you see and expect from God and people is what you receive.

If you anticipate that she's going to cheat on you, that is exactly what you get. Or if you think God has forgotten you or abandoned you...trust me, you're defining your God, the forgetful one. So, you'll never hear from God the omnipresent, because He's not forgetful!

Lastly I want you to know that fear and doubt are a total opposite of faith. And the bible says it's impossible to please God, without faith. So choose faith over fear. Then you'll be on your way to tasting of heaven's
