A young lady who name has been identified as Stepheni has declared her stand of marrying the one she loves and her mother can not stop her. During an interview on a popular Kumasi based radio station, AkomaFM saw the mother of the young lady giving account on how Stepheni stopped school to follow a young man, Kobby. The mother narrating the story says, the young man with his parents came to their house to ask of a marriage on behalf of their son, Kobby. But to the mother, her daughter is not up to the age for marriage and because of that they should leave her to complete school.
According to the mother after sending the daughter to the school, she will then go and spend time with the young man. And due to that she has gotten pregnant through which she been able to give birth. The mother sharing the story of her child said, because the young man has been able to destroy the daughter's career, she will not allow him to marry her.
The daughter sharing her aspect of the story said, the mother used to beat her because of the young man but she is not willing to separate herself from him. She even added that, the mother (Fidaus) cursed her one day when she was sending the child to the young man's house. The interview ended in an exchange of blow between the young lady and her mother. The lady claims that, of all what her mother is doing to her, she would not stop marrying the one she loves.
