Lady Narrates Why Her Boyfriend Didn't Allow Her To Go To Church After She Got Pregnant For Him

A 25 years old lady by the name of Angela Glau from the Volta region was staying with her boyfriend called Francis Ofori at Asante Akyem Asuboa. When she got pregnant the man denied the pregnancy. She travelled back to her hometown for some time but Francis told her that he will go to his sister who is a fetish priest shrine to consult the smaller gods to confirm whether he is the one who impregnated her or not.

A few days later he called again to tell her that the smaller gods has revealed to him that he is indeed the father of the unborn child. Angela came back to Kumasi after he accepted the pregnancy, she helped him to work on the cocoa farm but he didn't give her any of the money he got from the farm. She revealed that Francis never allowed her to go to church because they worship the smaller gods. She tried to sneak out one day to attend church service but her boyfriend ran after her and beats her for trying to go to church.

A few months later, her boyfriend's sister started accusing her of witchcraft, she again told her that she is the one who doesn't want Francis to progress in life. They sacked her from the house and she travelled to Accra to work. Her mother gave her GHC8,500 to start working with it. But Her boyfriend again pleaded with her to forgive her and come back to him. Angela said her mother advised her not to go back to him but concentrate on her work, she didn't listen to her mother's advice but went back to her baby daddy.

Francis convinced her to use part of her money to rent a room and also helped him to learn to driving. He promised to pay back all the money he took from her after he start working. When he found out that all the money has got finished, he packed out his belongings and went back to his family's house. Angela said she called her mother to inform her about what happened but she too told her never to call her again because she didn't listen to any of her advice.

She tried to get her money back from Francis but all her efforts were in vain. He later paid only GHC800 out of the GHC3,800 he owned her. Angela claims her mother fell sick so she went back to her hometown to look after her. Since that day, Francis didn't send her any money to cater for their child or pay back her money. She tried to call him but his new girlfriend always picked up his calls.
