Ghana went through a moment when men or guys who could not or decides to not to give their women especially girlfriends were grouped into a category known as Stingy Men Association. This was initiated in Nigeria and it was from this country that a viral photo came out when a girl watched her man eats whiles she sat looking at her with no food in front of her.The poor looking girl made a name for herself when a meme was made out it without her knowing. Some men even started making fun threats to girls who decide not to bring money along when invited for lunch or dinner by men.
This meme became history when the Stingy Men Association trend was over until a girl on twitter came out and claim she is the famous girl. The girl came out on twitter to explain what actually happened. She started by saying that she was not left alone in the restaurant as the story of the photo told.
She said she was given food but decided to take it home and after that had nothing else to do but to watch her boyfriend eat as she waited for him to finish with his.She said the meme did not make her famous in a good way but rather rather has brought a bad name to her in her society.
