Divorce Affair

Deep Insight Of Divorce That Spouses Should Avoid

Marriage is a union that is physically and spiritually bind together by God until death. Marriage makes husband and wife become one body in the sense that things that hurt or liked by the husband should also be hurt or liked by the wife or the way round. Spouses are not to have apathy in marriage, even with that it should be basic things like foods, aside from that there should be absolutely nothing.

One of the marriage vows did talk about loving one another and so forth until death takes one or both. So here comes the question is divorce wrong since one vowed to love each other until death.

Divorce in marriages is not something that should be encouraged because it has long-term consequences and ramifications, having kids makes it even harder. In the event of divorce, the marriage vows have broken but there is one thing that still sticks, and thus "death" until then is either the husband or wife live a single life or go back to their marriage. One can only marry another person if death did take one away until then there are only two options for the couple( go back to your marriage or live single life)

Biblical Grounds for Divorce

The reality is that divorce is painful for all those involved. God hates divorce {Malachi 2:16} and with good reason, it was never in His plan that people would hurt and manipulate each other. Husbands and wives are supposed to work together, always respect each other, and never hurt or harm their spouses.

Unfortunately, we live in a sin-sick world and some men and women are in marriages where vows are broken on a consistent if not daily basis. When a couple gets married, they make a covenant with one another and via before God to love, honor, and cherish for better or worse.

Marriage Vows

"I, ___, take thee, ___, to be my wedded husband/wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge thee my faith [or] pledge myself to you.

Bible Quotations On Divorce

1 Corinthians 7:39

A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord.

Romans 7:2-3

2 For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. 3 So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.

Malachi 2:16

16 “The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the LORD, the God of Israel, “does violence to the one he should protect,” says the LORD Almighty. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful.
