‘My father and mother broke up because of a pastor’s prophecy’ – Shatta Wale reveals

Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall artist who was just released from Ankaful prison after feigning a gunshot wound, has stated why he despises prophesies.

The "Borjor" hitmaker made this disclosure in the song Jailman, which was inspired by his time in prison and the challenges and sorrows he had there.

When asked about the prophecy, Shatta wale disclosed that when he was just old enough to have divorced parents, a prophet predicted to his parents, prompting them to divorce.

According to Shatta Wale, so-called prophets who spit death in order to earn money from people have left a lot of people in a condition of bewilderment and anxiety, which is what happened to his parents.

He went on to claim that predictions had resulted in siblings fighting after a prophet cautioned one to be mindful of his brothers.

In his song, he sang about his suffering, adding, "It was my birthday eve I take give Ghana."

Ebi My mother and father were both broken by this prophecy. So now you know where idey comes from. I will teach you and instruct you in the path you should go, declares Psalm 32:8. God, that bi God.
