The cost of a wedding in Africa nowadays can even purchase a vehicle or build a house. This is because the to-be couple spends so much on their wedding. The cost of decoration, wedding gowns, wedding cakes, champagne, food and drinks for guests among others can cause the couple over GHS20,000.00. Meanwhile, the Europeans who brought about this tradition organized their own weddings privately with mostly only family members and few friends.
In Africa, if you organized a private wedding, most of your friends will describe your marriage as cheap and out of class. But a lady has defied the odds and go in for a private wedding. Looking at the pictures in this article, a groom and a bride have been captured standing in front of a pastor. These photos were posted by the bride on her Twitter account. She goes by the name Tiisetso @ ChrissyMoroke on Twitter.
This lady was not even a wedding gown; just her simple skirt and top. She didn't apply any special make-up on her face. It was only the husband who was wearing a simple suit. This couple has been able to cut off a lot of costs from their wedding by going the simple way.
This is what Tiisetso wrote on her Twitter account:
"My perfect little private wedding".
Some people after coming across these pictures advised other Africa ladies to follow suit and save themselves from unwanted pregnancy, disgrace, broken hearts among others. Others also congratulated the couple for such a wonderful decision.
