Fear Friends Not Women: Lady Sells-out Her Best Friend Few Days To Her Marriage

Fear women is a well-known phrase that has gained ground in today’s world. But for this instance, the best fit should be fear friends. There is an ancient adage in the Akan language that states if an insect is to bite you, it would be coming from your clothes. The moral lesson in this adage means if someone is to harm you, there is a high probability that the person is very close to you.

A beautiful young lady found herself in an unfortunate situation similar to this. Her close friend, whom her family knew about, destroyed her plans few days before her wedding. This incident happened almost two weeks before the ceremony. According to the lady, seven years back, she had a miscarriage with led to her breaking up with her ex-boyfriend.

Years after this terrible incident, she found a new boyfriend who was ready to be with her for better for worse, till death do them apart. This was good news to the family until the unexpected happened.

The groom-to-be called her family two weeks to the marriage and canceled the wedding. According to her, the groom-to-be was told she has no womb due to numerous abortions she did. This is the most painful incident any bride-to-be can go through. Guess who broke the news to the guy? Her best friend. Hmmm!!! in Akan language (suro nipa, na gyae saman)
