I have often wondered what a "marriage" wedding is? Is it clothing, appearance, transportation, food, drink, music, people, or is it the sincerity of two loving people? Read the news and find what happened during a wedding ceremony in Kenya
Two children have died and 15 others have survived after eating food that is thought to be poisonous at a wedding ceremony.
The statement was issued yesterday by Kenya's Geita Regional Police Commander, Henry Mwaibambe, while speaking to reporters, identified the dead as Manyirizu Joseph , a six year old boy and Bertha Mateso, a five year old girl, who are all residents of Ikobe in Mbogwe district.
Commander Mwaibambe said the children and others who were injured ate the remains of food, which was porridge, which is rice and mutton and started vomiting as well as diarrhea.
In addition, the Commander said the condition of the survivors are improving as they are continuing treatment at the Iboya health center in Mbogwe district in the region and everything seems to be going on well for them.
