The Ghana Police Service, has indicated that, their attention has been drawn to the widely circulated and speculated news about the alleged gunshot-attack on Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale.
According to the Ghana Police, they launched investigations into the matter since the alleged shooting incidence got to their attention.
They revealed that, they have contacted some of Shatta Wale's close associates and family members and they are all claiming not to have knowledge or idea of his whereabouts.
Interestingly, his family members denied having any information about his shooting incident.
Again, according to the Police Service, a team of Police Officers visited Shatta Wale's house but could not find him there.
The Ghana Police Service stated that, they have searched and will continue to look for Shatta Wale in all hospitals in Accra.
The Police is however, appealing to the general public, to provide any information concerning the whereabouts of Shatta Wale to Ghana Police on their toll-free number 18555191 and 0302773906.
