A young lady in her mid twenties was stabbed by his husband in a guest house located at Low Cost, a suburb in Somanya.
According to the police,a pensioner known as David Annor,63 filed a report at the Somanya District Police Headquarters at about 1:40 pm. Mr.Annor is the director at the guest house where the incident occurred.
In his statement he said on the 5th of April about 3pm, a man with the name Charles Tetteh came with the now deceased to lodge in his guest house.
At about 12pm he decided to check the rooms when he found the Lady in a pool of blood lying laterally on the bed.
Police Sergeant Francis Gomado who is the Public Relation Office for the Eastern Regional Police Command and his team followed the complainant to the scene. A handbag was found and her brother was invited to aid in investigations.
The police invited the family members and husband of the deceased to aid them in arresting the suspect. Upon the arrival of the husband,one of the workers assisting with investigations at the guest house pointed to the husband of the deceased as he was the one who came with Believe Sakitey the deceased to the guest house.
According to the Police Prosper Negble used Charles Tetteh as a pseudonym to hide his identity. Autopsy revealed he stabbed his wife with a knife and fled the scenes.
