According to Prophet Oduro, there have been some illegalities among some ECG workers especially at various districts and regional offices. He exposed their acts by saying that it is difficult for people to get Electricity Meters for their homes these days. He added that ECG often fails to sell Prepaid Meters but they make third parties who are often known as "Connection men" sell second hand meters to customers.
He added that he has been applying to buy a prepaid meter for a long time but the officers always tell him different stories. He is therefore urging them to do the needful and make people feel comfortable at their offices.
He also exposed another act of some workers by saying that some ECG officers do sell meters to customers that are not rechargeable. This means that the credit balances on such meters never expire. He is therefore calling on authorities to check these illegalities and bring suspects to book.
