According to the Minister who is the Chairman of the Regional Disaster Management Committee, he explained that the development is to support organization in attending to emergencies and assignments.
The Regional Director For the National Disaster Management Organization, Mr. Ahmed Mustapha accepted the vehicles at the Regional Coordinating council and promised to Keep them Safe.
"This afternoon, I presented two brand new pickup vehicles to the Regional Director of NADMO, Mr. Mustapha at the forecourt of the RCC, Wa. I admonished officials of NADMO to take good care of the vehicles and other logistics government have provided the organisation. Late last year government provided the Municipal and District Offices of NADMO in the region with motorbikes and computers. They seized the opportunity to also congratulate me on my appointment as Regional Minister. As Regional Minister, I am the chairman of the Regional Disaster Management Committee."
