Onion traders are expected to move to another place to sell today. Currently, they are being moved to another location to sell there but some traders have resisted going so Agbogloshie the police fired tear gas there after arriving. They also fired gunshots on their arrival at the market.
According to some reports, all the traders in the Agbgloshie were expecting that only onion sellers will move to another place to sell but other traders were also asked to move to another location this morning. This had made many traders angry. One reporter said that they did that because some politicians said they want the market to be very clean.
Currently, a lot of things are happening in the Agbogloshie market. The police are doing their best to calm the traders but some of them are resisting to move. This is why the tear gas was fired. This is also the same reason why the gunshots were fired.
