After several robbery cases in the country these days, the Ghana Police Service has stepped up its operations and patrols which have been yielding a lot of positive results. About ten armed robbers have been cleared in the society. Some have been killed and others have been arrested. This same spirit of arresting criminals has made the police arrest two armed robbers in Tadzewu, a town in the Ketu North Municipal.
According to the police, the armed robbers namely Michael Maccatus who is 31-year-old and Wisdom Agbotokpo who is 25-year-old have snatched a motorcycle from a man who they inflicted a very deep slash on his head with a machete.
"The suspects, Michael Maccatus, aged 31, and Wisdom Agbotokpo, aged 25 robbed a victim of his motorcycle after inflicting a deep slash on his head with a machete", the stated on its Facebook page.
The service further commends the people of the town for helping them arrest the robbers.
"The Police Administration want to commend the people of Tadzewu in the Ketu North Municipal Area of the Volta Region for partnering the Volta Regional Police Command to arrest two armed robbers on Tuesday, September, 29th, 2021", the police stated.
Suspects are in police custody and the motorcycle has been retrieved.
The police have used the opportunity to encourage other people to commit themselves in helping the Police to get rid of armed robbers in the country.
The police said, "As we commend the people of Tadzewu for their patriotic spirit and support, we encourage the public to continue to support us to make criminal activities unattractive".

Security tips these days are very essential so that our lives can be intact before the police officers will be doing their best to bring the robbers to book.
