A vegetable farmer who is named Mohammed has been brutally attacked by two fulani herdsmen around St Anne's Girls Senior High School in Damango in his garden on 25th February, 2021.
Mr Mohammed who is also a teacher by profession always visits his vegetable farm after attending school by his motorbike.
Whiles he was on his farm, the Fulani herdsmen came in and ask the man to produce whatever he has on him to them. On his refusal to do that, the Fulani men butchered his head and other parts of his body and after inflicting the cutlass wound on him and convinced very well that the man is dead, they fled into the bush with the motorbike.
Mr Mohammed managed hardly to make a phone call to his wife who quickly informed family members to go the scene to rush him to the hospital where he is responding to treatment.
The information was soon forwarded to the Damango Police commander who are on the case doing investigations. Although no arrests have been found but they are still working hard on it.
The youth in Damango very angry organised themselves in the bushes to search for the victims.
