The land and resources minister, honourable Abu Jinapor is having a tour in the western region and his main mission is to condemn Galamsey in the region. As we all know, this galamsey fight started years ago but it seems some people are still determined to do it.
In a meeting with the regional and district security councils, he made is clear that Galamsey is really causing harm to our land and it is time that we fight it with determination and unity. That is, helping one another to get rid of it. Speaking to the chiefs, he pleaded that they should help so that the fight will be a quick and easy one.
He continued that they are not going to lose this time because, he is never going to consider anyone from any party. For him, though we were fighting but some people were secretly doing it because their party was in power but for him, he's fighting against everyone who decides to mine illegally.
“we are never going to lose this time because we are not considering anyone from any party” . he said.
