We did not go to America to hunt Twene Jonas, I alone could have caught him; Owusu Bempah declares

Owusu Bempah, a leading member of the ruling New Patriotic Party has debunked claims that they were flown to the United States to hunt for Twene Jones. Speaking to the Daddy Fred of the Announcer Newspaper on Facebook, Owusu Bempah said that, they went to the United States to attend to important issues and that Twene Jones does not merit their time. According to him, he alone could have caught Twene Jones if they had intended to. It is ridiculous for someone to say Akuffo Addo's government flew his whole communications team and government machinery just to arrest Twene Jones. If we had wanted to arrest Twene Jones, I Owusu Bempah alone could have caught him and brought him to Ghana" he said.

Speaking to the viral video in which Hopeson Adorye alleged that Jonas was fired from his work place and was homeless, Owusu Bempah said, it was a concerned friend who informed their team that the guy who does that "glass nkoaa", has been sacked from his work place. He maintained that Hopeson just did the video to the guard the youth against buying into the picture Twene Jonas paints that things are all rosy in the United States of America.

He further stressed that Ghana is a country that is held in high esteem and projected as peaceful by influential people from the United States, so Ghanaians do not need Twene Jonas to know the country is doing well. "We do not need a guy like Twene Jonas to tell us Ghana that Ghana is a farm. "We have billionaires in America like Stephen Havey, Conan O'Brien and others who even came to the country during the Year of Returns because Ghana is projected as a peaceful country", he added.
